Studio K Dance Company offers a wide variety of dance classes for a wide range of ages and skill levels, designed to inspire, challenge, and grow every dancer.
Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots is a 45 minute introductory dance class for ages 18 months-3 years, combining basic tap, ballet, and acro in a fun, supportive environment. Young dancers explore movement, rhythm, and coordination through playful activities and age appropriate instruction. This class helps build confidence, motor skills, and a love for dance at an early age.
Flip Hop (Pre-K)
Flip Hop is a high energy combo class for ages 3-5 that blends beginner acro and hip hop in a fun, age appropriate format. Dancers develop coordination, strength, and rhythm through basic tumbling skills and lively hip hop movement. This engaging class encourages creativity, confidence, and a strong foundation in both styles.
Stars (Pre-K)
Stars is a cheerful tap and ballet combo class for ages 3-5 that introduces young dancers to rhythm, movement, and basic technique. Through imaginative play and structured activities, dancers build coordination, musicality, and confidence while developing foundational skills and technique. This class provides a joyful foundation in dance while nurturing creativity and self-expression.
Tap n' Tumble (Pre-K)
Tap n' Tumble is a lively combo class for ages 3-5 that combines the rhythmic fun of tap with the strength and flexibility of beginner acro. Young dancers develop coordination, balance, and musicality through playful, structured activities. This class offers a fun introduction to movement while building confidence and motor skills.
Ballet
Our ballet classes provide structured training in classical technique, emphasizing precision, posture, and fluid movement. Classical ballet builds strong technical skills and provides a disciplined yet inspiring environment. It is an essential class for dancers serious about developing their dance technique. Please refer to the dress code section for required attire, tights and shoes.
Tap
Tap classes focus on rhythm, musicality, and coordination through percussive footwork and dynamic movement. We offer classes at various levels to support dancers as they develop their skills and technique.
Jazz
Jazz dance classes blend technique, style, and energy, drawing from both classical and contemporary influences. Dancers build strength, flexibility, and performance skills through dynamic movement and expressive choreography. Classes are available at multiple levels to support dancers at every stage of their development.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop dance classes explore rhythm, style, and self expression through high energy movement and choreography rooted in street dance culture. Dancers develop coordination, musicality, and confidence in an upbeat, supportive environment. Classes are offered at various levels.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance classes combine elements of ballet and jazz to express emotion through fluid, storytelling movement. Dancers focus on technique, musicality, and emotional connection to music and choreography. Classes are offered at multiple levels to support growth from foundational skills to advanced performance.
Acrobatics
Acrobatic classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and tumbling skills through progressive training. Students learn techniques with an emphasis on safety and proper form. Classes are offered at various levels to support learners from beginners to advanced acrobats.
Pom
Pom dance classes combine sharp, precise movements with cheer-inspired choreography, emphasizing synchronization, strength, and performance. Dancers work with pom-poms to build technique, energy, and team coordination. Classes are offered at multiple levels.
Pointe
Pointe class is a specialized ballet class designed for dancers who have developed the strength, technique, and maturity needed to dance en pointe. Students work to refine their classical ballet foundation while safely developing the skill and artistry required for pointe work. Pre Pointe is a required prerequisite and is offered to pre-approved students.
Musical Theater
Musical theater dance classes combine elements of jazz, acting, and storytelling to bring stage choreography to life. Dancers focus on character development, expression, and performance skills through routines inspired by Broadway-style productions.
Contemporary
Contemporary dance classes blend elements of modern, ballet, and jazz techniques to encourage creative expression through fluid, grounded movement. Dancers explore improvisation, emotional storytelling, and dynamic choreograpnhy.
Choreography
Choreography dance classes focus on the art of creating and interpreting original dance pieces, encouraging creativity, musicality, and personal expression. Students learn to develop movement phrases, structure routines, and explore different choreographic styles.
Turns & Leaps
Turns and Leaps classes focus on building the strength, technique, and control needed for clean pirouettes, a la second turns, dynamic leaps, and more. Dancers practice drills and combinations to improve balance, alignment, and power. This class is open to all dancers.
Technique
Technique dance classes emphasize the foundational skills essential to all styles of dance, including alignment, strength, flexibility, and control. Dancers focus on drills and exercises designed to refine movement quality and enhance overall performance.

Stretch & Conditioning
Strength and Conditioning classes are designed to enhance dancers' physical fitness through targeted exercises that build muscle, endurance, flexibility, and injury prevention. The class supports improved performance across all dance styles by focusing on core strength, stability, and overall body awareness.
Company Team
Our Company Team offers dancers the opportunity to train, perform, and compete at regional and national events. Team members develop strong technique, stage presence, and teamwork. We offer different levels within the team to accommodate a range of ages (4-18) and abilities, ensuring appropriate challenge and growth for each dancer.
Master Classes
Master classes feature industry professionals who bring fresh perspectives, unique choreography, and expert instruction to the studio. These classes give dancers the opportunity to learn new styles and techniques while gaining insight into the professional dance world.
